We have five weeks to go for the 11th International Week of Art, Music and Media! This year the arrangements started later than in the previous years but our team is energetic and working fine.
The programme is still a colourful puzzle with several pieces searching their final position. Our aim is to finish the first draft during this week. During next week, before Easter holiday begins, we will publish the schedule – hopefully!
Some foretaste of the last week in April
The students from Live Event Management Minor will organise a full programme in United Studios from Tuesday to Thursday afternoons: screenings, concerts, panel discussions and presentations.
The workshops run from Tuesday to Thursday, with topics like “Sound, Emotion and User Experience” by Antti Jylhä from the Hague University of Applied Sciences, “Connecting Neighborhoods: diverse_CITY” by Graham Cooper and Martyn Thayne from University of Lincoln and “Live Reporting” by Yuwei Lin from University of Stirling.
During Friday there will be lectures and presentations with topics like Social design and Artivism, just to mention a few… Yes, the programme will be interesting!
The photo is my not-so-good-quality-mobile-photo from the backyard of Mediapolis. Lake Tohloppi with ice and snow. Hope that the view is different on Tuesday, 24th of April 🙂
